North Dakota

Explanation
The State Report Card is a dashboard summary of key details about North Dakota’s public schools.

North Dakota’s Department of Public Instruction has designed this tool to provide parents, educators, schools, districts and citizens with easy access to district and school information, test results, demographic information and other critical data in a centralized location.

The State Report Card may assist in initiating discussions about areas targeted for improvement. Demonstrating that schools are accountable, the report card displays consistent and reliable information about each school and district directly to parents and community members.

Further details about each indicator can be found by clicking on additional sections of the report card in the left navigation menu under the headings Academic Progress, Students, or Staff.

To protect student privacy, data for schools who have less than 10 students will not be displayed.

In some cases, when appropriate for the purpose of transparency, information involving 10 or more students may be displayed in ranges to avoid potential identification of students in small demographic populations. When utilized, ranges may be represented visually with diagonal lines or open circles in lightly shaded colors.
