Minot State is responding to the job market by offering majors in nearly every area of career growth, such as education, nursing, communication disorders, social work, psychology, criminal justice, computer science, management, accounting, information systems, and medicinal plant chemistry. Minot State has 33 accredited academic programs, and master’s degrees are offered in education, technology, and special education. MSU Life gives
students numerous options to participate, lead, and be successful when they participate in one or more of our 50+
student organizations. The clubs and organizations represent drama, intramural sports, music, academic groups, student
government, and more. MSU Life provides a fun and engaging social atmosphere and regularly sponsors events such as
dances, movies, hypnotists, Pinterest nights, comedians, concerts, and food all free of charge for students.
Minot State is an important member of
NCAA Division II and plays
in the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC). We have men’s and women’s basketball, cross country, track &
field, wrestling and golf. Other teams include football, baseball, volleyball, fast-pitch softball, and soccer. We also
has men’s and women’s club hockey teams.
